More Exciting News

Apparently news doesn't travel through the family as quickly as I thought. So by way of announcement it has FINALLY happened. After a quarter of my life...I am engaged to be married. I am VERY excited and happy! I can't wait to be sealed to him for time and all eternity. I am engaged to Timothy Daniel Stone. As a quick side note, he goes by Daniel not Timothy. He is a Tucson native and is 26 years old. He attends the U of A where he plans on graduating with a degree in business in the next few years. He recently returned from his mission to Nashville Tennessee Spanish speaking in December. He works everyday to make sure I am happy. He even puts up with me when I am grouchy and orange!! Don't ask about the orange comment. I think everyone got a laugh out of it and that is what matters. :) Anyhow, I love him and am so thankful for him.
This weekend we were able have our engagement pictures taken in Mesa. It was SOOO much fun! My Aunt Jill took our pictures and did a wonderful job. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful memories with her!! We love the pictures! I want to thank Jill for putting up with my Orange tint and for working so hard to fix it! I love all of my family and want to thank them for their support at this exciting time in my life! Well, hopefully I can keep up with this blog from now on. I promise I will try!

I Know...I Know

Well you are all probably thinking it is about time! The Larimore family has had WAY too much fun lately. We have been back in real life for a week. The Cruise was AMAZING!! We were able to go para sailing, snorkeling, to the San Diego Zoo, and Exploring in Ensanada.
There are a million pictures from the cruise and hopefully with any luck I will be able to create and post a movie summary to music soon. Collin loved the cruise. He had a special connection to our waiter at dinner and they had dialogue nightly about the placement of the ketchup on the plate. The food was great!! Collin didn't understand why we couldn't ride the boat home to Tucson. He was very sad when we had to come home. We had a blast! Thanks mom and dad! We love you!!

Cooper and Justin

Well we gave Cooper his second bath tonight....and he discovered a new way to dry off. I am not sure that mom is a fan but he likes it a lot better than the blow drier! He is growing quickly and is starting to get into a little bit of trouble. This week he chewed up Shanna's shoe and decided that Emma's bottle tasted pretty good! Anyhow, we wanted to post some video and pictures from bath time.

In other news....Justin gave a talk in church this week and did a great job. He also took a girl on her first date. Justin had to write his name on a bullet before they left. We all thought it was great! Below is the picture of the family watching as he signed the bullet.

Finally

Well I have not been very good at updating this blog since school started. Things have been a little crazy! Well here is the latest! 2008 has been great so far. Emma is growing quickly! Here is a picture with Daddy ringing in the new year!

Cooper is growing quickly! He knows how to ring the bell to get outside. He will sit if you catch him at the right time. His very favorite thing to do is play with Collin and build big forts with the scraps of wood in the backyard! His least favorite thing to do is take a bath and get his hair blowdried!

In other news we are celebrating the retirement of Collin's BUNS....aka...pacifiers. He finally took one of the many bribs offered to him and he threw them away to get a scooter. Mom and dad decided it was a worthwhile investment. He loves his new scooter and for the most part is not missing his BUN too much!

I have been very busy at work this week. I taught a class on technology in the classroom Friday. The flu bug also invaded my classroom!! We had the first stain on the carpet this week as a result! I was almost in tears because the carpet is brand new!!! I called my mom and begged her to bring out her carpet cleaning machine and of course she did! Thanks mom, you saved the day!! I decided to put up a picture of my class! I love these kids!! They are an awesome bunch! The day this picture was taken was PJ and stuffed animal day!

Finally, thanks to all those who supported our family last weekend at Grandpa Larimore's funeral! We are happy we had him around for 102 years! He was an amazing part of our family!

Also look for future post including Justin, who fills left out. If you have any good pictures of him please email them to me. Thanks!

Santa Crashed!!

It is offical...Santa crashed at The LARIMORE'S! Justin, Christi, Mom, and Dad spent the morning together. Justin got an X-box but....Santa brought a defective system! We hope that Santa can replace it quickly. Christi got a Kichenaid, Mom got a Bosch mixer, and Dad got a UofA watch! Collin, Emma, Shanna, Brian, Shelly, and Rob all came later in the day to spend sometime here.
We played with all the toys and had dinner with Papa Jack, as Collin calls him, and Shirley. After they went home we got out Collin's new toy the Bee jumper and played for a while. It was the HIT!! Everyone took a turn!

We even included some video and an amazing picture that Rob took! This activity continued for hours...Collin was not hurt :) He was just needed a 5 second break.

Also on a sidenote....Grandpa Larimore is famous! He made the Silver Belt! He turned 102 years old on December 12th! Below is the clip from the newspaper! We love Grandpa Larimore...aka....The Cookie Grandpa!

Another Visit to see the Goldendoodle

Well the Larimore clan took another visit to see our puppy or as Collin calls it our goldendodo. On Saturday the Mosleys, the Cooks, and the Larimore parents went to visit. We are happy to report that he is doing well and growing QUICKLY!

Cooper with the leader of the pack

(you have to watch Dog Whisper if you don't get it)

With any luck we will be able to bring him home on January 4th. We have had some great recommendations for names! We decided after hearing that his mom's owners have named our dog Larry, we better speed this process up. We are sitting on the idea of naming him Cooper. It is not a final decision yet...but we are slowing working in that direction.

Collin just couldn't understand why the puppy couldn't come home with Mimi. He said "Puppy go home now." He will just have to wait.....In the meantime our puppy has been busy visiting an elementary school, learning to be friends with cats, and playing with his brothers and sisters. Our puppy's mom has started a website called http://www.tucsondoodles.com/. Anyhow, we will try to get somethings posted about our family soon and the highly anticipated visit of Santa Clause. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
